When it comes to getting the kids where they need to be, OnStar has proven invaluable to Justin V. and his family.

Millions of parents know the drill: rush to get the kids ready, check and double-check their equipment, and then race out the door to get to another game, practice, recital or class. Maybe they’ve got a couple of kids, each with their own activity but starting at similar times in different parts of town. Or maybe half the team needs a ride too.

Living in Coaldale, Alberta, about 17 kilometres east of Lethbridge, Justin VanDyk and his wife have been behind the wheel for a lot of long drives and managed plenty of hectic schedules to help get their kids where they need to go. Their twin 20-year-old sons were into soccer. Their 14-year-old son has a busy volleyball schedule. And their 8-year-old daughter is a dancer who’s also got an eye on softball.
